Khao Lak Safari + Hot & Cold Spring Tour
Khao Lak Day Tour elephant riding into the tropical rainforest is a fun and exciting experience. The trek will take you deep into the jungle amid the beautiful mountain scenery, passing a rubber forest, crossing a shallow river, to a majestic waterfall. When reaching the falls, you are allowed to get off the elephant and swim. A full-fledged jungle safari can be experienced in Khao Sok National Park, 110 km north of Phuket, rivaling the jungle safari tours offered in Northern Thailand. Experience elephant trekking, walking jungle trekking, river canoeing, bamboo rafting, jungle or floating lodging, long-tail boat trips and lake boat night safaris in the jungle and in the tropical rain forest. Khao Lak National Park offers a lighter version of jungle safari.
The natural hot spring source was found on this piece of land about 40 years ago. The water originally sprung out about 3.5 meters above the ground. To control this precious water source, a concrete cap was placed on top of the spring, which reduced its height to 1-1.5 meters at the present day.
